PLEA Community Services Society of BC has been providing programs and services to children, youth, adults and families facing significant challenges since1979. Its origins are in youth justice where it was one of the first agencies to offer young people a community-based program as an alternative to custody.  Its programs and services now span child welfare, addictions, health, justice and community living systems.  It’s focus ranges from preventative – helping children and youth at-risk make good choices under challenging circumstances through programs like KidStart – to intensive – providing specialized residential services to youth, and adults who are unable to live on their own. PLEA’s vision is a world where everyone has the opportunity for a good life, and where everyone counts.
